Merlot 100%, from the vineyards of Val Liona. Manual harvest in the second week of September. Direct pressing, vinification in amphora, ageing in amphora and fibreglass.
A Merlot rosé that evokes southern France, strength, colour, elegance.
Dry rosé, deep pink tending to brick. Good structure, moderate acidity. A wine that can be aged for a few years in bottle.
Harvest:
Carried out by hand in the second week of September in plastic crates of approximately 15 kg.
Winemaking:
In amphora after direct pressing. Followed by ageing in amphora and fibreglass tanks until bottling.
Alcohol content: 13.5% Vol.
Ageing: Wine ready to drink or can be aged for 3 to 5 years.
Characteristics: Dry rosé wine, deep pink tending to brick. Good structure, moderate acidity. Suited as an aperitif with raw fish and shellfish, flavourful pasta dishes with tomato base or meat ragù, light meats. A wine that can be aged for a few years in bottle or drunk immediately.
